Art of Miracles•Persistence of Memory
Phillip produces limited edition pigment prints with anti-reflective museum glass.
Shown sized 64”x48” (160x120cm)
His serendipitous, gone with the wind attitude; married with a pristine style of photography draws the viewer in closer, naturally capturing the spectacle of the world while enticing a great appreciation for nature and wanderlust in the viewer. Seeing life in frames, his hunger for culture and discovery leads to a perpetual exploration, forever finding himself in the hunt of the next shutter exposure. Inspired by the surrealism of Dali, and Magritte, Phillip looks for and captures the instances in life that are almost too good to be true.
The Series'; Eterna, Fait Lux, Artitecture, Vida, Splendido, Sakura, Testament and No Trespassing all begin with the same inspiration, meditation through creation. All different themes telling unique stories, from pristine, timeless nature and perfect light, to elevated street photography. From the fusion of man made structures in nature, living the Dolce Vita, or pushing the limits of what they say can’t be created, limited by laws and boundaries.
His art serves as a sprinkle of inspiration as to not only what can be achieved by man, but also of the perfect earth we so luckily inhabit and the little miracles that happen every day. Each image solidifying both Phillip’s memory, and archiving a moment of perfect serenity that happened on our planet.
